Virtual tour of the Bronze Age Village 2 - Unteruhldingen

Modeled according to artifacts recovered in a diving excavation in Unteruhldingen in 2002 (across from the Mainau Island), a new village section (975-850 BC) was reconstructed as part of an EU-project. In line with the latest scientific findings, its interior is continuously expanded.

Here you can witness naturalistic activities illustrating the life of the lake dwellers 3000 years ago – with people, animals, and small and large models of artifacts that date back to the Late Bronze Age up to the end of the lake dwelling period.
